This policy explains how transaction reversals, refunds, and cancellations are handled on the INPAYONE platform across AEPS, DMT, BBPS, Recharge, and other digital financial services.
INPAYONE acts as a technology platform that facilitates digital financial services such as AEPS, Domestic Money Transfer (DMT), Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS), mobile/DTH recharge, PAN and Aadhaar services, travel bookings, and related products. Because most transactions are processed instantly through banking and payment partner networks, refunds and cancellations are governed by the specific nature of each service, as outlined below.
Once a transaction is successfully processed and confirmed (status shown as "Success" in your transaction history or app), it is final and cannot be cancelled or reversed, except where the receiving bank, NPCI, or the underlying service provider initiates a reversal due to technical or compliance reasons.
If a transaction fails or remains in a "Pending" state due to a technical error, network issue, or provider downtime, any amount debited from your wallet or bank account is automatically reconciled and refunded as per the following timelines:
| Service | Typical Refund / Reversal Window |
|---|---|
| AEPS (Aadhaar Enabled Payment System) | Instant to 24 hours; up to 5 working days for bank-side reconciliation |
| BBPS / Bill Payments | Within 24-48 hours, subject to biller confirmation |
| Mobile / DTH Recharge | Within 24-48 hours, subject to operator confirmation |
| PAN / Aadhaar / Travel Services | 3-7 working days, subject to third-party provider processing |
๐ Wallet refunds for failed transactions are credited automatically โ you do not need to raise a request for clearly failed transactions.
In rare cases, a transaction may be debited from your wallet or the beneficiary's account while the system shows it as failed or pending (a "ghost" transaction), or the reverse may occur. If you notice such a discrepancy:
Because most services on INPAYONE (AEPS, DMT, UPI, bill payments, recharges) are processed in real time, transactions cannot be cancelled once initiated and submitted for processing. Cancellation is only possible for services that explicitly support it, such as:
The following are generally non-refundable once successfully processed, as the value has already been delivered to the beneficiary or third-party service provider:
โ ๏ธ Please verify beneficiary details, mobile numbers, and amounts carefully before confirming any transaction. INPAYONE cannot reverse funds that have been successfully credited to an incorrect beneficiary due to user error.
For Retailers, Distributors, and Super Distributors operating on the platform, wallet-to-wallet fund transfers and commission settlements are processed as per the agreed settlement cycle. Reversals of incorrect fund transfers between linked accounts (e.g., Distributor to Retailer) may be requested through your upline or our support team, and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis subject to the receiving party's confirmation.
To raise a request for a failed, disputed, or eligible refund:
Eligible refunds are credited back to the original source of payment โ typically your INPAYONE wallet โ unless the original payment was made directly from a bank account or UPI, in which case the refund may be credited back to the same bank account or UPI ID used for the transaction.
We may revise this Refund & Cancellation Policy periodically to reflect changes in our services, banking partner requirements, or regulatory guidelines. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our platform. Please review this page periodically for updates.
